Old, but unused ballast

This one's for the electronics experts.

I have an 11-12 year old IceCap 430 Ballast that has never left the box. Should it still be good? I assume that it has nothing inside with a shelf-life less than a really long time. Any ideas?

It's probably pretty similar to the current model:

I'm thinking about selling it or making a T5 setup with it.

Electronic components do not expire. They do degrade if they are exposed to heat and moisture. But if it has been in cool dry storage you should be good.
