Oldude's new 400 gal tank build

This anemone hasn't moved for 18 months so I am keeping my fingers crossed that trend continues and it stays happy in that location..

I actually picked these up with my soft coral tank in mind but just decided to move them into the display. We'll see how well they behave.

Just added this blue "mini maxi" carpet to the display. I'm not really one for jumping into the coral trends for my own tank but this thing is kind of cool.

Fantastic

Fantastic

Been lurking and admiring for a long time -- thanks for sharing the beautiful photos. Would love to see an FTS when you get a chance.

You have a very beautiful display of corals. Keeps getting better every time I view your tank. It's truly an honor sir.

After having a fish trap in the display for 3 weeks I finally caught the last pyramid butterfly that I will be taking to the LFS and trading in on some new fish. Those buggers killed several of my clams and most of my prize LPS pieces and cost my an easy $2K in what they destroyed. They were model citizens for about 3 years and then decided they liked to eat coral even nipping at the sps. I had to catch almost every other fish before the stubborn last one would go into the trap so my sump was getting pretty full but things should be back to normal soon with all the other fish returned to the dislay.

I had a similar experience with Pyramids, not "reef safe" as billed :)
