I have never heard of this snail and was wondering if anyone could tell me how they work out if you in fact use them. What I found on the web is that there are a good thing.
I think we're going to need a picture here. The common name olive snail means different things to different people. To me it's a family of snails that you definitely wouldn't want in your tank.

the oliva sayanna I had were ineffective as "clean up" crew, they required individual feeding of clam tissue and marine polychaetes. They will also accept other gastropod meat.
