Ok try this as it worked for me when I ran the 150. First thing to know is they are a very sensitive skimmer and it reacts quickly to any change. Take the flute on the pump and close it put a mark on the flute and the body of the pump, then open it 3/4 to 1 full turn hence why the marking. Then plug it in with output fully open and let it run for a while like a hour or so and it should have built up a good froth in the body, this is with the cup off, then you want to bring the water level up very slowly until it reaches where the cup joins the body, what you are looking for at this point is grape size bubbles popping on the surface then add the cup and what you should see when looking at the side of the skimmer is the where the water stops and foam starts should be right around where the skimmer starts to tapper. Then just LEAVE IT ALONE as as I said they are very sensitive and foam levels will go up and down as it chooses, well to whatever affects it, could be the front door opening or you lite up a smoke or fart or vacuum, you may laugh but I am not kidding they remind me of the Downdraft skimmers they reacted the same way Barometric pressure will even affect them. Leave it like this for a day better would be for 2 days and see what you get you maybe surprised and if you have to adjust these must be MICRO adjustments like a mm very small, but the hardest thing is to not touch it. Even if you do what I say and leave it and shut the pump off to empty cup and plug it back in it will foam up like crazy and slowly level back down that is how sensitive they are. What tell you smell that first cup, the Wife will be asking what the hell did you do.
Good Luck and try and resist the urge.

P.S. you know you are set when you see the top or where the body starts to narrow gets dirty if nit does not you have it set to high and will overflow a some point.

The Omega 150's adjustable nozzle realy is not an adjustable nozzle at all. You can get maybe a 100LPH air draw difference between full in and full out. This is due to the entire white volute being an add-on to the main Sicce volute that already exists. If you look on the BK skimmers the volute and nozzle are the main pump head over the impeller, and the adjustable nozzle works as it should with drastic air draw differences between full in and full out. Just find a spot on yours where you're happy with it and you'll be just fine.

sounds good thanks alot, I find that my skimmer is not finicky at all my sump level remains the same always and skims very consitent. i don't ever need to adjust it but have never played with the adjustable air nozzle before it has always been fully turned IN . Il twist it out and see if there is a noticeable difference. Thanks alot
