I came home from work yesterday to discover a few of my fish hiding and all of my coral sucked in and/or looking miserable. Specifically my small colony of Acropora (3" high - one branch). Which had gone from a beautiful blue and purple with tiny bright green polyps to a ghost white with tiny black spots where the polyps used to be. Some of the polyp heads are hollow and you can see right to the bottom, indicating that there is no polyp inside. Others had little black dots where they used to be. The top half of the frag is the whitest white I have ever seen, while the bottom half is a algaeish pale green.
Literally the night before the colony was thriving, I had never seen its polyps as vivid and spread out before and it never looked more colorful, and 20 hours later it was a ghost. My other SPS's do not look great but they are not doing any bleaching what so ever. My Montipora (3" encrusting) looks normal except most of its polyps are not out. My Birdsnest colony (6" diameter) is also normal except its polyps are closed or pressed tightly against its body. My LPS's are all pretty much sucked in or shriveled up to some degree. My Zoa's are still normal and open but my Xenia is shriveled up and my mushrooms are doing that weird thing where they wrap their body around their mouth and kinda resemble an onion. My motile inverts are active and normal. While my Maxima clam is closed up and coco worm are not out. I have not done anything different to the tank and my parameters are excellent (LFS words not mine). Any ideas?

*Could the light be doing this? The fish hiding may be unrelated, because they have since stopped acting weird and are eating normally.
