Thank You guys like i said i will come back even stronger
Been in San Diego avoiding the heat all week and logged on to this bad news!:(

Good to see your head is up, Hugo! I wish I could help but my new tank never got off on the right foot. AFW pretty much wiped out all my newly acquired frags and unlike you, I've decided to take a much, much lengthy break. Maybe one day.......

Good luck, bro!

No one deserved to lose everything!!!!!!!!!!
Even when you have a Gen. things can happen you have no controller over. I now live in Las Vegas , but have lost my tank three time now do to the hurricanes , and shipping all my live stock out here, from Fl. So guys don't put a negative spin on his lost it can happen to you to even if you are well prepared for a power lost. Just thought of it, lost most of my tank after we move here , and the A.C went out for one day, and I was not home and it was over 110 out that day. So with that said, if you can help him out. It would make everbody in the hobby look a lot better. And on top of that you might make a friend for life. What a sweet deal that might be for you . It sound like a few might need a good friend . Hugo PM and I will see if I can do anything for you.

Rick

Hugo:

Just saw this thread and wanted to echo the sorrow at your loss. Your frags are still kickin' here in Tennessee, and I can always make more frags of those Acans and micros to help you recover whenever you're ready. I'd love to help you out however I can to thank you for your past generosity and contributions to the hobby.

Dave

WOW Hugo thats sucks.

Sorry to hear man.

I have some frags in reserve for ya when you get another tank up and running :)
Just pay the frieght and thier yours.

Seriously.

:)

(But only if you promise to use that generater you have next time the power goes out ;) )

WOW this pic just kills me to look at so I can't imagine what you are going through. Good to hear you saved a few pieces! I have been trying to get my hands on the watermelon for some time.

I'd be more then happy to donate a few frags as well Hugo!

Your tank has inspired my brother and I as well and I know that your next tank will be even better. It'll take a couple more years to get to where you were now, but it will be worth it. Best of luck and your two island idea sounds great.

Holy [profanity] = (

That sucks Hugo.... Just let me know when you get started again,
I'll stop by with a big care package...

So sorry to hear about your loss! I read through all 9 pages so far. I am glad that you are going to build back up. You have obviously been an inspiration to many. You have sooo many offers of help. You should be proud of yourself for having such a positive influence. Good luck to you.

Sorry about your loss, Hugo.

Make sure you don't toss what appears to be dead corals any time soon. I have seen bone white SPS rebound a month or two later. I'd just get the water parameters in tip top shape as quick as possible, then just hold on and wait. Maybe some of your precious corals will bounce back. It can happen.

Hi Hugo, I just read the news. Truly sorry to read what happened. My heart felt sympathies go to you, my friend. Yours was one of the top tanks that I had the privilege to see in person.

should of had a generator backup atleast......

Or you could've read the whole thing to learn that HE DOES HAVE A GENERATOR!!!:mad2:

It was said in the thread at least ten times.

AH that high end stuff and no back up, what a crappy day for rare corals.

Yes, there was backup!! But extenuating circumstances happened. It happens to the best of us.

It will probably happen to you too with your rare high end corals that are currently setup with a backup. I hope it doesn't but, hey, God has weird things in stored for smart alecks.

It's really a shame that a thread about a disaster could generate so much anger and ill will among people that belong to a club together.
In any case, I think this has gone on long enough for people to offer condolances, and I see no positive direction from here.
