I just found out today that Scott, Who Worked at Ebayfish for Sean has Lost one Eye and Needs a very exspensive operation to save the other eye from the same fate. It seems Scott has some rare Issue with his eyes and Will loose his sight completely if the proper care is not gotten for him!
I would like to set up a Fund for all that would like to help out a Friend and fellow reefer in a very hard position as far as Paying for this much needed care.
We could get a link up on MTRC.org and collect any donations and Make sure that they go for Scotts Medical bills for saving his Sight. I will talk to Donny or Rick and see just what we as a club can do to help him in his time of need.

Ii seen his eye on Thursday and omg it looked bad. At that time he just thought that he had got something in it, didn't know that it was going to affect both eyes. I would be more then glad to give a little to his needed care. He is a very cool guy.

been talking to scott on facebook bout this and it seems its gone south on him....Gods blessings to him and his family

The Medical Costs for the Needed Surgery will be in the 10,000.00 range, That's why I thought we could start a relief Fund for him and see what we as friends can do!
I will give what i can when I get back from my trip from NY and hope all will do the same.
He is in my Prayers that he gets the medical attention that he needs to save his sight.
It was very late when I got to this and will get the ball rolling today.

Donny will be setting up a link to Paypal that you can make a donation to help him as this has put him way behind in even paying his rent to have a place to live. Plus he has a little Baby to Boot to feed and Keep Sheltered.
Please Help even if it's just a few bucks as It all matters at this point to him surviving or not!!!
Bill

Prayers are good and much appreciated but CASH is needed to survive this tragedy.
Please help with what ever you can afford.
Thanks in advance
Bill

I will start the ball rolling with $25.00... I don't know him, but all God's children are our responsibility. I will offer up a prayer for him, as well. How do I send the Money, Bill.

Just an update, There has already been a Check Delivered to Scott Today from both the Paypal fund setup for him and from the Club itself. After talking to 3 of the four BOD members we agreed that the Club could afford to make a Donation and we DID! I was not able to get a hold of Jay yet but I'm sure he will be on board with our decision.
Just to give you an Idea of the serious nature of his financial problems Vanderbilt will not continue to treat his condition unless he pay's up front for his services! The Antibiotic he needs to keep this Infection from spreading to his other Eye is almost 200.00 per little tiny tube and without this he may lose his other Eye.
The Family Now has Money for Baby Diapers and Food and he will be able to pay for his appointment at Vanderbilt tomorrow!
Thank you to all that have helped so far and as far as I can see this Saga continues, So if your able send a donation.
Thanks to all that have helped from the bottom of my heart.

Bill,

I'm glad to hear that it's somewhat under control now. Can we have more detail about

1.How much people donated so far?
2.How much the club donated?
3.How much does Scott need?

Thanks

Also, I hope you understand that the club donation opened a door you might not want to open, what if someone else is in need again?
