Its not up for debate. It was a snarky comment on how I feel about Scotts predicament. No one else responded to that comment. If you wish to continue this conversation send me a pm. Otherwise, like so many else did, ignore a comment that is a week old.

Just thought I would Update all those who were not at the Meeting Yesterday as to it pertains to Scott and the Clubs Donation.
First off The Good News is a Doctor has offered his Services to Scott to receive a Transplanted eye replacement that will regain him his sight. Secondly the Hospital will Donate their Services to the Cause also.
Only thing that they have not Covered is his Medicine that requires a lot of money to have filled at the Pharmacy. That is where the Club comes in this time as we had a Raffle of some donated Reef Items and Others donated Cash as well as the Club has Donated 500.00 of the Clubs Money to keep him up to date with his Prescription costs. I will go to the Bank tomorrow and get a Certified check for 800.00 additional money to give to Scott for this expensive medicine.
Thanks to all of you that helped in this very crucial part of Scott's survival to raise his Baby and be able to see her!!!

The 800.00 check was given to Scott today and he informed me they may do his Surgery very soon. If not this week then Next month, It depends on his Infection and if it's gone or not. FYI

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Today I joined R2R and found a thread raising donations for a fellow reefer. I am an ophthalmologist and know several of the people at Vandy eye; I even helped train their current chief resident. Please let me know if there is something I can do to help in terms of medications or specific surgical services if required. I use to live in Memphis and currently reside in sw Virginia. Thanks.

I am an ophthalmologist and know several of the people at Vandy eye; I even helped train their current chief resident. I seen him this pass weekend. He is haveing a hard time finding funding for an eye replacement. And having trouble with vandy he'll have to explain it more to you. Anything will help i can pm you and send you his info.

I received an email from Scott briefly explaining what has happened and replied with some basic questions I need answered before I can find the meds and potential services he may need. Does anybody know if Scott is okay? I am surprised he has not answered, hopefully my reply did not go to his spam box. Any help would be appreciated.
