I have had a One spot for around a month or more now. He is very active, cruises the whole tank, eats and begs all the time, picks at the rocks. Seems completely happy and healthy minus always being light colored. Eats a mix of frozen foods and Nori sheets.
So being that Foxfaces change color when scared or stressed I'm assuming something is stressing him. Tankmates are just a clown and a lawnmower blenny so it's not them.
Salinty is .025
Temp 78
No ammonia, nitrite, and a small bit of nitrate if any.
Change the water once a week.
The one thing I have noticed is that the only time he is yellow is when the light is off. Once the light comes on he lightens to very pale yellow. I just have a single T8 so don't see how the brightness would effect him being it isn't very bright.
Only other potential stress is micro bubbles from skimmer. I could put a foam over the outlet and see what happens I guess. Any ideas on other stressors?
