One spot on fin after 10 days in hypo

My angel looks clean except one tiny white speck on her right fin. I've had her in hypo qt for 10 days now. The white speck has not changed or dropped off, and no others have appeared. It looks it could be ich, but doesn't follow the pattern I've seen for ich on other fish I've hypo'd.

She looks perfect except for that and is eating everything I feed her.

Any ideas? How long would an ich spot take to fall off? I thought it was ten days or less.

Thanks
:)

Unfortunately (I'll explain below) the ornamental marine fish hobby deals in 'averages.'

The Trophonts can stay on the fish for an average 3-7 days, then after engorgement/pregnant, they leave. Some though can stay on for another week! But, there are Trophonts that actually don't leave the fish at all! They may not disassociate at all, but form the cyst while on the fish. So now you have to add in the time range of the cyst. That is 3 to 42 days, average being 4 to 8. Now you can see how it could go.

On the worse case scenario and the cyst not dissociating itself, you could see that one spot there up to 8 weeks! :D

Just one of the joys of this parasite!

Watch the spot. When it is no longer there, then let at least 4 more weeks go by to verify that your treatment was a success.

Good luck!

The spot is very tiny, kind of like a speck of salt, maybe not perfectly round, though. It is the only spot on her after 10 days in hypo. She had it the first day I noticed. It doesn't look like cauliflower, but too small to tell.

Otherwise she's doing good and eating fine. She's a beautiful female bellus I was lucky enough to talk a friend into selling me. She didn't have ick he said, but was kept in a tank with blue tangs, but even then, I would qt her in hypo after what I've been through with ich. Thanks!!
