Onyx Clown

Anyone ever heard of an onyx clown and picasso pairing up at all? Have the picasso already getting the onyx soon which is smaller than my picasso. Its on hold at the fish store untill I pick it up. Great looking fish also!!

Havent heard of it but they are the same species so its not unusual. There is a member on RC who bred a black occellaris to an onyx.

I have an onyx and true perc that paired up after about ten months of being together. So i would think that it is possible, it may just take some time.

I have a large female onyx (kinda) with a male picasso.

The female of the original pair that are responsible for all the ORA picassos, was very dark. With the definition of "onyx" being so subjective, I'm not going to say she was an onyx, but she was mighty dark.

Ok cool thanks everyone does anyone have the thread if there is any of EMBYOGUY breeding log? The clown is on hold at the fish store until I get some money next week to buy it. I walked around the corner and I saw the clown and was in love with it!! Its the perfect size I have been looking for of course I have been looking for another picasso but this will do just find it is an amazing clown.
