link is to long do a search on ebay for item # 110058235853

or DIGITAL CAMERA CANON,NIKON,MINOLTA MICROSCOPE ADAPTER

It very likely won't work. I don't think the Mesoscope has standard sized tubes. But, I will go and try to measure it.

I'm wrong. It is a 25mm tube. But, you're going to lose most of your ability to focus on far-away things. You'd have to take the eyepiece off to fit this adapter and the Mesoscope focuses far-away by retracting the eyepiece into the base. But, really close it'd work fine. And you could probably fudge with it by taking off the closeup optics in the base and then moving the camera around to focus on closer stuff. You might get the front 1' of your tank doing that, assuming you had the room to move your tripod around.

Hey Mr. Typesetter,
I will be giving a photography presentation next weekend at the club meeting and I will have my mesoscope with me at the meeting. If you're interested I can show you the adapter that I have made for my mesoscope.

Hey Mr. Jake!

Sounds interesting! Depending on the vagaries of child-rearing, I'll be there. (All plans were cancelled this weekend because of illness. So, you never know.) I understand the principle--it would just be an aluminum tube and I have a Canon EOS to T mount adapter--but my mini-lathe doesn't cut threads so I haven't given it a try yet. Knowing me, I would get the tube all ready and not be able to find a way to get the threads cut.

I look forward to meeting you and seeing your presentation if I can make it. Thanks for the heads up!

Andy
