open Brain Being Eaten

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this post but I thought I would start here. A couple of days ago I lost power at my house and while looking into my tank with a flash light I noticed my first bristle worm in a rock under a beautiful Open brain. I have had the brain for over 6 months and it has done great since it's purchase, Alsmost 1/2 again as big as when I bought it. anyway I fed a couple of my corals some mysis last night and my brain looked perfect. Just tonight I,m looking into the tank and Notice an area of the outer fleshy area is missing ( eaten away by something ) I'm thinking the Bristle worm but after all I've read I thought they were good for the tank? Any suggestions are appreciated, and will my Brain survive this attack?

Thanks in advance

I had that happen and I done a Lugols dip and placed it in another system and it came back. I think it was the change in po4 after running Rowa. That's my only guess.

Thanks for the feedback Guys Can you give me an example of what would be eating this Brain coral? I thought I chose all tank mates wisely.

FYI Tank is a 90 gal with approx 100 lbs L.R. Black Clown, Purple Tang, 2 fire fish, red lip blenny, Sm green Chrom. Serp Star. various corals
