Open Brain Discharge

Ok my green open brain discharches a brown reddish glob every once in a while and no one had really said if this was healthy cycle or sign of distress. Anyone?

Likely to be one of two things, digested food ( poop ), or releasing zooxanthalae. How long have you had it, what kind of lighting is it under, and do you spot feed it?

its been in for about 2 months under PC actinic and PC daylight, its a shallow tank with 24W. I sopt feed as i can but never really see any tentacles come out. Good flesh though there is not skeleton showing. I also feed phyto to the tank twice a week. So there is plenty to eat. I'm hoping its just excrement.

I'm wondering the same thing. Mine does the same thing and its perfectly healthy.
