I'm with ya Gar. Off A/C. On Fireplace. Couldn't decide on wardrobe though. Going with shorts and sweatshirt. I'm more confused than usual. Fish are in long sleeve shirts and skull caps.

BRISK but at least the rain has stopped.

Earlier this week and just north of me the hail was incredible.

put off opening the pool again today

rain and cool weather caused my grass to grow into a jungle. It's good to do yardwork when it's cool like this.

I opened our pool on a warm weekend in April. We went in it last weekend. This weekend we've got the heat on.
But, I'm not falling for mother natures trick of getting me to burn one last fire in the fireplace. I've done that before, only to have it get warm within a couple of days, creating a downdraft that makes my house smell like a camp fire.

Yeah, if I let it go for a week right now, my lawn turns into the flipping Serengeti. I live in the City though, so instead of Lions, we have Rats prowling

we ended up having to do this to our garden, which helped out through that insane weather this weekend haha

hahaha Yes we grow buoys instead of food since we live near a river. Can never be too prepared! hahaha
We used them to create mini greenhouses so the frost wouldn't get them. You just screw the caps on at night and WAM! instant defroster! haha
