Opinions on this camera?

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Canon PowerShot SD850 IS as a beginers tank picture taker?

What im looking for is a camera that will I can get some decent macro images of my fish and corals, in addition to larger tank shots and general photography.
I am not an experienced photographer and my current camera uses film so its hard to experiment with settings and get feedback on what works and what doesnt.

My dad has a similar model PowerShot IS that is an awesome camera. I wouldn't think of it as a "marco coral" camera since I associate SLR cameras with macro lenses for that category, but great camera none the less. Especially when you consider a camera that size can be carried in a pocket!
