I think this is similar to the reasoning "why pay $1500 or more for a Centropyge resplendens (Resplendent Angelfish) when you can buy Centropyge acanthops (Flameback angel) which looks almost 100% the same, for $50?" part of the reason is that it's so rare and that it COSTS so much that adds to the attraction. sounds crazy.. but it's the way it is.

I'm all for aberrations and paying premium prices, but it depends on the individual, I would not pay 500.00 for that particular one, but the picture gasman posted is a different story.

I found this post searching for the Z. flavescens mutant ninja turtle- AKA Calico Tang in Google and was just wondering 6 years after the last post if anyone has every found one?
