Hi I am thinking/planning on getting the 3pro.
I will need to use the controller to top off my sump when it gets low, can I use an optical sensor like the tunze osmolator or am I stuck with the float style?
Thanks
I would think you could use an optcal sensor as it is basically just a switch. You could hook it into one of the inputs.
I am curious to the answer as well
For submerged water level sensors, I use parts of the SpectraPure top-off control module. It has a pressure activated relay that you can wire either as a top-off or pump-saver switch.
For high water level detection, I use float switches. I bought mines from http://www.aquahub.com . Their mold-a-holder is great for attaching the switch to the tank.
