Hi Roger:
I'm ready to mount my Streams (2 6200 and 2 6100) in my new 225 gallon system (72x30x24). Thanks to the Tunze magnets, I have a variety of mounting options, which is great!
My question is this: Is there an "optimum depth" below the surface that you should mount these units? The object, of course is to provide maximum efficient water movement without totally blowing out the sand, cavitating, or pushing water right out of the tank! A friend of mine was even contemplating mounting his near the bottom and blowing up almost vertically, which scares the heck out of me!
Any thoughts concerning the optimum mounting depth and "angle" to make the best use of Streams? Thanks!
Scott
