Option to Peninsula Tank?

So, I've mentioned this before, I am looking at having 2 5' peninsula tanks on each side of my entry in a new home (a year out, break ground in a few weeks). My wife said, why don't we put a larger tank in the middle (a 360 degree view tank). Anyone know manufacturers with that option, how does an overflow work (in the middle?)?

Any direction is appreciated.

I would search on "4 side viewable" for ideas on tanks.

I would LOVE to have a 4 side viewable tank but you really need to have the proper place for it. A 48x48x24 would be awesome!

Most would use a center overflow and rockscape around it to hide the overflow. Powerheads can be installed off the overflow and hidden in the rocks. Having a sump below (better in basement if thats option) will hide the heaters and such. You can also run a PVC "dry tube" up that overflow for cables to go to the lighting if you are running a canopy over the tank. I have also seen where lights are just suspended from the ceiling and tank is open top, making it "5 side viewable" ;-)

Keep us posted with picts.

I believe the works reside in the blunt end, and underneath...you might want to design around that necessity, including electrics. Aquavim makes such tanks, sort of like the ones you see in hotels, etc. They're East Coast, but do ship.

Yes, everything will be in a 14'x14' basement room underneath and about 10' horizontal away.
