options for replacement hood on 24 jbj?

i was thinking of changing the stock hood out for a hood that has a MH or VHO in it. any suggestions on what brand or where to start looking? I have a 24NC and its 17" across. Ive seen the LFS had a MH hood with arms over one of there nano's but cant remember the mfg. What has everyone done out there?

Go to nanotuners.com for mods. I have the same tank and put a 150W MH current usa sunpod. I think it runs around $250 however if you want to keep the stock look you will need to shell out probally around $300-$600 dollars.

Sunpod pros
-keep sps/lps corals
-separate cords for lighting needs (1) lunar lighting(1)mh lighting(1)white light
-A big difference in color

Sunpod Cons(which isn't that big of a biggy)
-Water loss to evaporation so you have to refill with ro/di water 1/2 gallon daily to maintain a consistent salinity measurement

I got the 108W PC upgraded hood from nanotuners. Went with 1 10K and 2 50/50's, I like the results.

Great craftsmanship, I was impressed with how nice it is.

A good option if you want higher light but don't plan on SPS (Which you could do SPS if you wanted, they wouldn't look as good as under MH lights though).

not sure what i want to do. its a lot of money either way. I have a small apartment so the tank works great for me but i only have softies and lps. i thought by changing the light i could go sps and a clam (maybe). I hate to spend to much money b/c i was wanting to upgrade into a 75RR. but who knows.

so i was looking for opinions on whether to upgrade the hood using nanotuners----either more pc lights or the MH upgrade. Or would it be cheaper and easier to put a light assembly on top.
