ORA German Blue Polyp with dead polyp?

I got a GBP from a buddy, frag looks pretty healthy except 1 polyp which is 100% dead. Its half way up the branch. The rest of the piece looks good. I have it sitting about half way up under a 250w halide / off center about 8". Strong flow. Its sitting on the rock horizontal so that dead polyp is facing the bottom on the tank. Perimeters are 100% in check aside from alk being a bit high, but its slowly coming down. Mg-1350, Ca- 420, Alk 14. All the other frags are blooming like none other

Should i move it toward more light? Should i move it vertical? The skin of it looks healthy and the polyps are bluish - purple.
