orange colored fish

I was at disneyworld last week and in several of their saltwater aquariums where large orange colored fish sorta looked like an angelfish . Any one have any idea what these were ? Also the rain forest cafe had some too.

Orange peel? Adult Clarions have a orange look to them. Not sure if rainforest cafe has those on the Stocklist? Do you have a picture?

I've seen those guys at Oceanside harbor - swimming happily among the filth and garbage there.

Though those at Disney must have come from south of the border as they are protected in CA and illegal to catch.

I'm sure large public aquariums can get them anytime they want (with permits) ... For most, a reef tank is a death sentence, because they need cooler water.

Maybe, but all the ones the wholesaler have are from Mexico and I doubt anybody wants to spend the extra dollars to get one caught in CA with special permits by certified divers.

Yes as stated above, they come in quite often. Need a permit since they are state fish. They are beautiful as juveniles, and stay bright as adults, but they are the meanest stinking damselfish you will ever come in contact with.
They reach 10" in the wild and will ATTACK divers. They are @holes to say the least
