They're one of the most aggressive dwarf angel I've ever encountered then colin's is second. I'd two in two separate tanks same aggression toward new additions. Maybe this is CB angel personality and not just isolated to the deep water specimens.

I was just reading something about these deepwater CB's darkening up after a while under bright reef lighting.

Maybe it's the pic but your's looks fairly dark. Do you have any comparison pics from early on & today? Anyone else with some pics for comparison sakes. I'm just curious as I sure wouldn't want to pay a premium for a fish that will look no different than a common orange CB I can get for $30.

I could never get the proper color out of the CB as the fowlr tank is housed with mostly deep water fish such as bandit, venustus and hogfish with lower lighting. I would agree that they darken up over time and it doesn't even require intense reef lighting.

here's the 3" Tahiti deep water CB I got from BZA's wysiwyg section back in May 2010. Obviously it's not as orange as the ones from DD but then it was only 1/3 of the DD price. I figure I try one to see what they look like in person.

I will see about getting a new pic of the one from Tahiti. In the meantime this was taken in August 2010 which is 3 months after I got it

my LFS has one this color right now! I was tempted to buy it, but I wanted to wait to add other fish first! His said it was from Fiji I think... Don't quote me on that as it's been a week since I saw it.
