Orange spot filefish

Would it be better to put him in my main reef so he can nip at some polyps or should I keep him in solitude until he learns how to try and take prepared foods? I've been dumping all kinds of stuff in a little nano to try and get him to eat and he was eating roe at the lfs but hasn't touched it too much in my tank. He's picked at some arcti-pods but it looked too big for his mouth. He's curious about flake food, but hasn't took it in.

You may check local Asian food stores for salt preserved jellyfish. I was always curious if one of those guys would pick little pieces of that out of the water column.

Interesting, I'll see what I can find around this area that might sell it. Tonight he actually started eating the arcti-pods so hopefully that will get him started. I put a couple of slimer frags in there as well to see if he will pick at them.

Yea, it's possible that he just needed to get used to the new environment.

hopefully if he makes it through QT he won't relapse when he goes in the big tank
