Just wanted to show off my Orange Spotted File Fish.

how long have you had them, i have had several and have only had luck with about 2 or 3, very difficult to feed

Iv'e had them for about 3 1/2 months. Purchased them from Live Aquaria. They are already trained eating mysis and brine shrimp. They are hardy eaters.

to feed mine i would create a home made like fish paste with all sorts of squid brine shrimp clam to make about as thick as peanut butter then sjpread it along a acro coral skeleton, it would munch on that all day

Nice looking pair. Did you get those from the Diver's Den? What all do yours eat?

Mine were weaned when they arrived but they definitely prefer brine shrimp to everything else I've tried.

Yup, Diver's Den. I specifically bought them from the Den because they were already eating mysis and brine shrimp.

Thanks I actually have them in my seahorse tank-no SPS corals. They all get along great.

Are they eating anything other than mysis, brine, and ova for you?

No. I have'nt really tried anything else. They really devour that food.

... and the OSFF club gains a new member! Nice looking pair. Other foods they might like are ON frozen formula 1 and 2, Cyclopeeze and live blackworms. You're lucky that they still eat mysis. Mine stopped after being introduced to my FOWLR. He only pick at the mysis now.

If you happen to place an order online I'd also suggest picking up Rogger's Reef Food Plus. It's green and mine eat it relatively well. Still not like the spirulina enriched brine shrimp which they destroy.

Looks good. I love mine. Very cool fish and Live Aquaria's DD does a wonderful job. Mine get quite the variety of food and while they will eat just about anything mine prefer flakes (Super Veggie, Prime Reef), Reef Caviar and Rod's original blend.

One question for you, how do they get along? Is the male a bit of a Dick Tracy?
