Orange Striped prawn goby

Does anyone know if an orange striped prawn goby will sift sand? I have one and all he does is sit around, is there anything I could do to entice him to sift my sand? Or is he still too small?

Mine never sifts either, my watchman does a little here and there.

The shrimp gobies burrow more than sift sand.
The sleeper goby family are the sand sifters.
