ORAs' New Clowns

By now a lot of us are familiar with ORA Picassos and Snowflakes. Well today I got a link about some new clowns they have. Apparently they are in very limited quantities. Rather than describe the 2 new clowns, here is a link:

I've askd my lfs to get two of the spotcinctus. It will be interesting to see what they look like. What worries me is that every ORA normal bicinctus clown I have seen has always been ugly. Pushed in face, bad mouth, huge bug eyes on a small head, skinny little runts of fish. I'm hoping the "new" varieties are better, but I don't know. Even the bicinctus clown they have pictured on their web site under the list of clown species they produce is not a thing of beauty. Oh well, one can hope!

Its face is a bit odd, but I love the pattern.

It would be interesting to see what it looks like with the adult coloring and everything, but I'm still partial to just the regular bicinctus.

I have a clarkii with the pearl eye. He always looks like he's frowning, but it's really cute. I think that spotcinctus looks awesome!

Let's see how their heads look like, like somebody said, the head shape of their bicinctus are a bit wierd.... I ended up having to buy w.c. to complete my collection (not to mention that they are usually very dark as suppose to very yellowish comparing to w.c. ones).

I have a maroon that has two white dots on one side at the second stripe...I thought it was unique and pretty cool.

I picked up a pair this afternoon. They both have both traits, the pearl eye and the spots.

1st clown.

The 2nd clown. Best pics i could get so far, he is hanging out in the rocks.

And the pearl eye from straight on.

Aparently, ORA shipped a pair to my LFS but only one looked like the spotcinctus, the other looked like the rest of the 5 pairs of Pearl Eyes that he got...

W Ellis ans Ian if you don't mind can you please tell me the price of the spotcinctus at your lfs? You can pm me if you don't want to post it. I'd like to know because I asked a lfs to get me a pair. Just trying to gage what other stores are charging. Thanks. And people can love em or hate them just like Picasso and Snowflake, but I will say that I am glad to see from the pics of the ones you got that they look better than any normal ORA bicinctus I've ever seen.
