Ordered a generator for $150 after $150 rebate

Kept hearing about this generator on the radio the past week and the first thing I thought about was to use for a reef tank *laugh*

Generator would pay for itself in one long power outage even if you didn't use it on a reef. The savings in not having to throw out your freezer contents would pay for it.

When we were discussing generators after the January outage, folks liked the Hondas because of the clean sine wave output, saying that some pumps & powerheads either won't work or won't work well without that feature -- what's the outlook with this model?

I just ordered one too!

I was gonna pass then reading the thread they mentioned freezers and losing a freezer full of mother's milk would be catastrophic! (oh, and the reef stuff too)

I want to know how loud it is.
According to the specs it's 68 dB at 7 meters (about 23 ft).
