I, personally, feel that true and honest feedback is important, regardless of whether it is good or bad. I also think that if someone tells about an experience with a store, they should not sugar-coat it and should tell the honest truth about why they feel it is a good or a bad store. I will watch my words closely as this is always a somewhat touchy subject, but these are my opinions. If you are going to say something like what has been said, like a store is going downhill, I would like an explanation as to why you feel that way. If someone is bashing your favorite store, is that going to make you stop going? NO!!! It will still be your favorite store tomorrow, just post your experiences with them...no need to bash the person who said something negative about the store. Every store is in business for a reason. And it's not because they are horrible stores. Once in a while, someone will have a horrible experience with a store, but that does not make it bad. I have come on here before posting about a disatisfied experience once or twice, but at the same time, it was more because I needed to vent and if I tell my friends, they stare at me with a blank face not having a clue about what I am trying to explain...that's why I come here. I will button my lip for now as I don't want anymore repercussions to occur from my words, but just take them to heart when you are writing here on RC. It is a priveledge, not a right(DAMN!!!! I sound like my father...thanks guys for making me act like him)
If you want to post a comment about a negative experience, you should have that choice without getting slaughtered for it. If you have a positive experience, you should be able to come here without 100 people saying, "What!! Are you kidding me. That place sucks. You're stupid." It works both ways.
Heck, I've had a few positive experiences at Petland, I would just never post it here because I'm truely afraid of what kind of $#!+storm might occur because of it. Let's all act civil and we can be more productive for everyone involved.
Please, do not take this as anything personal to any one person. This is a generalized message from me on how I think civil and truely dedicated people should act...not taking any example from our overall messed up view in society. I'm not quoting anyone or singling you out. I'm just concerned that we are becoming very negative when this hobby is supposed to be positive. Just remember we are very lucky to have the opportunity to have conversations about which fish store is better, not which fish store is the worst. Many places don't have one good or even debatable fish store and we have many that happen to be our sponsors and care enough about our club to stick with us through thick and thin, despite how much we, as single members of our club, berrate them.
