I had this a few years ago...someone got for me from Germany...lost it to AEFW's!!! :headwalls:

Oh, how I wish I had it still. :sad1:

Awesome tank...How many ml/day are you currently dosing of the 3 mixes?
Thank you ganjero!

Currently i dose daily:
120ml Alk mixed 80g/L
10ml Ca mixed 500g/L
2ml Mg mixed 500g/L

It is a very odd consumption, but i think my salt is to blame. It is very high in minerals.

I am going to stockholm in middle of july. maby i can visit u then if ur not on vecation.
No worries, i will have my vacation in Stockholm archipelago, 30 minutes from home. I will have time for you :)

I will go to London on a stag do (is that the correct word/spelling?) before this year is over. If at all possible i will make sure you receive a frag of it. And any other coral you like. Cause i will for sure try to raid your tank.

Hi Ornet,

You've got some truly stunning corals in there, with gorgeous color .

I wanted to mention that your NanoFrag special frag, looks identical to my "Yellow" coral when I first got it. I've uploaded progression pics of the same, on my thread. May wanna have a look at it. If its the same, which I think it is, it's a winner!!!! My favourite coral at least

ormet, your tank is looking so freaking amazing dude. I pray mine will look that nice one day
Too kind :) Im sure it will!

Thanks Bello. I hope it will progress as yours did, that would be amazing. But looking at progress pics of my own it does not look like it :P

In other news i started Zeo basics this week.

Also i wanted to share a pic of my Acropora frogskin. I cut it a couple of weeks ago and where it grows back over the cut the polyps are blue. I have no idea why but its pretty :)

Im a bit star struck here, you have been an inspiration for me for years. Many thanks for your kind words! My tank before this one was a plastic rock tank ;)

My board is/was half pink ... i just could not find a convenient way to remove the coraline algae. I know you used a tooth brush :D I would not have the patience i'm afraid.

But now i added sand since it is recommended for Zeo. And also my 2 Ruby Red scooter blennys will enjoy a sand bed to hunt pods in. We will see if i keep the sand. Its damned annoying, getting brown and my Trochus snails have a hard time righting them selves. :angryfire:

Ormet you have a great talent at growing awesome corals and taking beautiful images of them. Outstanding system so glad I stopped by:beer:

That pic of the frogskin is amaaaaazing ormet!Love it

What zeo basics are you going to use?
Thanks mike buddy, i love to shoot macro. Some day i might afford some kick *** equipment to make our SPS justice!

For now i'm just running:
0.65L Zeostones in Fish-street reactor
3 drops Zeobak daily
0.25ml Zeostart 2x a day
3 drops SpongePower every other day
0.25L GAC passive. (2,5x more gac then i usually use)

I have _no_ idea where it will all end. I guess with 15 bottles or something :D

thank you so much for your kind words, i'm happy you enjoy the tank. SPS, photo &, my top 3 hobbies!

Love your avatar, that tank is something else :)

Has the bleaching stopped/slowed?

Also, could you post an updated FTS to show how it looks with sand?
I switched places with the green and pink mille. So the pink is lower in the tank. I think it is starting to look better. The tank looks worse tho, the pink mille was a perfect contrast to the blue staghorn behind it.

I will take FTS when the brown stuff on the sand has disappeared and when i have had the time to place my new acans. The bottom of the tank is also littered with frags that is waiting to get shipped :P

Give me 2 weeks and i hope i can provide a FTS. Then its been a month with Zeo also so time for some comparison shots.

Why did you change to zeo ? You tank was amazing without zeo

Best Regards

Too much free time. 8 months paternity leave, so i look at the tank all day, of course i need to tinker. Since i started reef keeping, only two husbandry techniques have ever interested me. "BB, High Flow, Big Skimmer" & Zeo.

So now it is time for a 6 month comparison. Is Zeo better then my lazy approach? :)

great tank,

i have lots of liverock in my system but do u think i could still benefit from using siporax like u

Thanks! Not really. If you for some reason would have a problem with high no3 then maybe. I find siporax to be great for denitrification. Siporax is just a place for bacteria to live. And the porous structure also allow for denitrification, something that it _might_ do better then LS.

Thanks for the update Ormet. I hope to get mine wet within the next week. I will probably start out BB.
n/p. You don't have a build thread do you?
