Osmalator water level issue.

Yeah Yeah
Over the past 2 weeks I have had trouble with the low level sensor keeping water at the appropriate level. Sometimes the water level goes below the sensor, sometimes above the sensor, sometimes it goes so high it hits the high level float and the alarm goes off.

I vinegar soaked the probe and wiped it clean but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Are you sure that it isn't siphoning? If the top of the bucket is above the level you are pumping too, it may just be siphoning and this would explain why it is erratic, as the water level in the bucket drops it stops overfilling.

The fresh water holding tank is located below the main display tank so a siphon would be impossible. The Tunze pump line is secured above the water level in the main display so a back siphon would be impossible as well.

OK, it sounds like the controller is faulty, most likely a bad capacitor. Send it in and I will replace it. I just need the 5017 controller with the attached sensors.
