osmolater not working right

Hi,

I have had the osmolator for about two years now with no problem. However, the last week, it started having problems. The osmolator would somehow sense that there is not enough water in the sump, even though the water level is higher than the sensor and continue to pump water into my tank. I caught it and unplugged the osmolator and cleaned the sensor. Then re-tested. For maybe an hour or so, the osmolator would show green sensing that the water level is okay... but then it will show yellow and green and begin pumping water. It then doesn't stop pumping water into the tank because the controller continues to show green and yellow indicator on. I had to unplug the power for my controller. The controller is the 5077 controller and the sensor and the killswitch. Do I need to re-purchase a sensor? Or do you need to have me ship the item to you for investigation before you can make the determination?
If so, can you provide your shipping address?

Thank and regards..

Please ship it to me, it may just need a new sensor, you may need a new controller or even a new power supply, sometimes the power supply wears out and causes false readings.

which wire to reconnect?

which wire to reconnect?

Good morning Roger,

Got back the osmolator. I guess the original controller went bad? Thanks for sending a new controller to me. That was really unexpected. Do I need to remit any payment for the replacement? One question though, I forget which wires from the pump is connected to the leads on the controller. The wire from the pump has a brown wire and a blue wire. Do I have to specifically run the brown wire to a specific wire lead on the controller or it doesn't make a difference?

Thanks and regards

The polarity is not important. You don't owe me anything your controller was just barely under warranty and it was covered.
