I have just purchased the tunze osmolator and it is having a hard time pumping ro water from a bucket into my sump. The bucket is placed in front of my cabinet right now with future plans to have it pump water into a kalkreactor for top off. Can someone please help me with this issue??? Thanks!

I guess I'll join in.
I was about to post the same thing too.
My pump is about a yr old though and yeh today I let it go for like 5 mins and no water made it to the tank.
Didn't feel any suction on the pump.
Is it time to replace my pump?

Yeah mine is brand new just plugged it in last night into a fresh bucket of ro water and it worked fine the first couple times and then today I noticed it wasnt pumping. I even shortened the length of tubing thinking it could be a head pressure problem, and it wont pump water through 2 feet of tubing. I am really confused as this is the first time dealing with this setup.

You may need to prime the pump, assuming the line isn't kinked, the usual casuse is air in the pump and you simply need to tip it up and let the air out. Please read the instructions and note that the water is supposed to pump up to the aquarium. Pumping to the sump can be a problem since after the pump turns off water may continue to siphon into the sump since the sump is usually below the reservoirs full level. It should have no problem pumping through a reactor, the max head is 9ft.

I have the same problem, however, I am very well familiar with the need to tip the pump in order to purge the pump/line of air to permit the impeller to drive water.

Mine has been working for over a year w/out issue. Every 2 months I clean the sensor in a vinegar water solution, I take care of the osmolator.

Suddenly, 2 weeks ago, the sump water line dips below the sensor, but no power is being sent to the pump. I've tried every trick I know as well as reading through the owners manual.

Is there an address i can send my unit for repair? It was so expensive to buy new I would be hapy to spend a few dolalrs for shipping to TUNZE for professional repair.

Thanks, P-Stop

No problem, that is a simple repair, usually the optic sensor failed when that happens and it is due to a faulty LED and it will be repaired under warranty. Just send it to me. Such a repair takes 1-2 day turnaround.
