osmolator pump frequency

Hey, Roger,

Now that it's winter, my osmolator is running much more frequently. It runs for 5-10 seconds every 10 minutes or so. Just wanted to make sure that this is normal. The sensor seems to be functioning fine. It is definitely quite dry in my house, and I'm evaporating 4-5 gallons of water pe day on my 180.

Everything seems fine - just wanted to be sure this was typical.

Sounds normal, I am having a similar problem, not so bad but my 180 plant tank is loosing about 2-3 gals a day which is way up from the summer. Humidistat says the house is at 40% humidity, normally I have it set for 60% so the AC brings it down from our usual 80-100% range.

Good thing about the dry winter months is when you spill water on the carpet, it's dry in no time.
