My Osmolator is set up and the operating sensor is working just fine. I tried to get the alarm sensor to go off. does that have to be completely submerged in order to trigger? The water went up about half-way but it still did not trigger ....
The secondary float causes the alarm- not the optical sensor. If this does not trigger an alarm the jumpers inside the unit were set to the no alarm position, but the cut off and LED's should still function.
When the water reaches the secondary float nothing seems to happen. the water is already cut off by the operating sensor. There's no LED and no alarm. Can I open the unit to activate the alarm?
You raise the float all the way to the top and get no alarm? Make sure their is no magnetic devices near the float and the brain and we will take it from their.
