Osmolator Sensors in the main tank?

Can the sensors for the osmolator be installed directly inside my Oceanic main tank. I don't want to use a sump due it being too noisy. Will the bracket for the sensors even fit on Oceanic tank?

I would get the parts needed to convert your Osmolator to an Osmomat- this can be arranged. Short of doing this you would have to run a water level two inches below the top to accomodate the sensors.

Why could one not build an acrylic bracket to hold the sensors? That way they could be slightly higher.

I see no reason why a custom bracket couldn't work- It still would put the water level below the trim though on most US made glass tanks but it would be an improvement.
