Osmolator versus Osomat

Hey, Roger,

I'm in the process of deciding how to do my water top off for my new tank. I'll be using either the osmolator or the osomat with the calcium dispenser to supplement a Korallin reactor.

I'm not entirely sure what the differences are between the two topoff systems.

Thanks,

Jason

An Osmomat is used when it is to be installed in tank and an Osmolator is to be used in sump. The Osmolator can also be used in tank but the result is a water level 2" below the trim.

I have a small ecosystem refugium/sump and am wondering whether the osmolator will work on a small sump like mine. It's 24 x 10 x 12.

I have no experience with this but if it basically a standard sump that water drains into and is pumped back from I don't see why it wouldn't work.
