osomulator problem

i went down to check on my tank and noticed the water level was several inches below the sensor, but yet the sensor was saying that the level was good. i checked to make sure that all connections are good and have the sensor in a vinegar bath. is there anything else that it could be.

cleaning it is the first and most obvious like you are doing. Has it been running fine for some time? If so and nothing around it has changed such as a new ballast sitting near it etc... and it still fails after cleaning the sensor could be going bad and may need sent in to Roger for repair

i cleaned it, and the same thing...
no thing has changed in the tank, it has been running for over a year and a half.

If you have cleaned the sensor (soak in vinegar for a few hours) and are sure it has no mineral haze, I would send it in for repair.
