Also I noticed .. what the heck is wrong with reading comic book stores? We have some awesome ones here near orlando! Acme comics sci fi city and colliseum of comics i visit on a somewhat regular basis
I may be a woman but i even grew up reading them when i was a kid with marvels newer xmen team, some of the other x-teams and some star trek and xfiles ones.. lately i've gotten back into it as well as toy collecting - with battlestar galactica (Going to get my picture taken with Katie Sackhoff in May woot!) stargate..
I just read the compilation of House of M and look forward when all of the civil war stuff gets compiled.. I like spinoff series like marvel mangaverse, 1602, fairy tales etc...
I think comics have evolved a lot and many handle some adult issues really well - kind of how gaming has come about as a full industry, not just for kids anymore

I have 2 back issue boxes full of my collection i've kept from a kid and love trading cards too omg haha i have it bad

I myself grew up reading comics, and collecting sports cards.

Yes I have, and plan on handing all of my cards to my Grandson when he gets older. I realized I have alot of stuff worth some serious money. The high dollar stuff is now in a safe deposit box.
