OT-Any Suggestions on where to buy fabric/carpet

Even after being here in the valley 8 years, I still don't have many "go to" places for good deals. You guys rock, so I figured I'd ask you.

We're doing a quick conversion of our garage into a large playroom as my best friend and her two kids are coming to stay with us. (We're planning on moving within the next 4-6 months so we don't really want to put a ton of time/money into this)

So what I want to do is hang fabric (like curtains) around the perimeter of the garage to hide scuba gear, etc. We also need a piece of carpet to lay on the floor. We thought about doing an epoxy coat/area rugs, but I think a carpet remnant would be cheaper.

This whole thing was rather sudden, and as she's driving from North Carolina she won't be able to bring any furniture with her. So if anyone knows of anyone looking to get rid of a set of bunk beds that would be great, too.

I know it's not fish related, but I could really use some help :)

Thanks guys!

I find Tempe Sales to have much better deals on fabric than Mesa Sales. The selection isn't as big but the prices are much better and they have a giant pile of $1/yd fabric.

It's on Broadway Rd west of Mill Ave.

I bought a lot of really nice carpet for a steal at Big Bob's Flooring Outlet, but it was a long long time ago. They used to have a shop in Mesa, but now it looks like they are at 2330 W Bethany Home Rd Phoenix, AZ 85015

You can also get decent deals on clearance rugs at home depot/ lowes
and Walmart actually has a pretty big bunch of $1/yd fabric too.

OK, cool, note to self. How was the UFC fight, Tiff? I wish I could have made it.

The evening was fun, but the title fight was terrible!!!!
