OT: Anyone else hate turkey?

I have finally put my foot down and will refuse to eat turkey this year!
I don't like turkey and never have, yet once a year I eat it to celebrate the taking of the land from the Native Indians...:eek1:

Speaking on Indians, did you know Vegetarian in Indian means Bad Hunter? I'm a good hunter and will have a nice juicy steak for my Thanksgiving!

Im with you i have never liked turkey

I dooo however love stuffing, sweetpotatos and the always delicious pumpkin pie.

LOL, I'm one of those "bad hunters"!!! HAHAHAHA

I've never eaten turkey since I was a 5 year old and my parents killed my pet turkey and tried to pull it off as 'dinner'. I wasn't having it back then and I'm not having it now. LOL. My parents said I cried and was 'petting' the turkey in the fridge and was crying even more when they put it in the oven. They gave that turkey to the neighbors and skipped turkey that Thanksgiving.

Sorry I don't hate turkey. The best turkey is the day after thanksgiving piled high between two pieces of bread with miracle whip, salt and pepper. I also love bacon, steaks, and Bacon. Did I mention I love bacon? JP
