Where do you work?
I work in an Adaptive Technology computer lab. Ultimately I help disabled students get what they need... usually this is Brailling notes, administering our server, maintaining Kurzweil 3000 licenses, and the biggest thing we do is scan books in to be used in Kurzweil 3000 (where students can have the computer read the books to them or turn them into MP3s... tons of stuff).
Anyway, I say that to say this: in the beginning of the semester, we are EXTREMELY busy scanning books. We cut the spine, scan them in chapter by chapter (on really expensive, double sided, self fed scanners

), and burn them to CDs. After that, we don't do hardly anything.

It can get kind of boring, but its kind of nice, too. I can do homework at school, and we are also the highest paid student workers @ $10/hr. I love it!
OK, so why did I go into all of that? I have no idea...
I guess I just wanted to say a lot of jobs are boring, but most are just annoying. Its getting a job that I love that I'm personally seeking... namely touring.
Anyway... you can always do what I do... just find something new to research... my latest thing is guns.
