OT Breast Cancer 3 Day Fundraiser

Hey guys and gals,

I am doing the Susan G Komen 3 Day - 60 Mile walk to raise money for breast cancer research and a cure. I know we are all broke due to our hobby and the sweet economy, but I wanted to offer you all a chance to help raise the funds needed to participate in the walk. Every walker has to raise $2300 to be eligable. I have set up a site with tons of info and also links to the donation site.

Wow, thats awesome that she has been able to winn the battle twice! My team is a bunch of hair stylists we are the Beauties VS the Beast. I am sure they wouldnt be apposed to adding more members though if you wouyldnt mind being around a bunch of hair stylists (im the only guy on our team thus far). I think we have 12 members as of rigth now, and individually we each need to raise $2300 before we are able to walk, so that makes our team's life savinf potential rather nice. Let me know if you are interested in knowing more about our team and if so, then we can sign you up to help wiht our crazy fundraisng schedule. Have you walked it before?

My wife was going to make the walk last year but was told if you didn't have the full amount you could not participate. What happens to the money if you don't reach the goal?

That I do not know. I would hope it still got donated, but it is odd that you need to earn so much to walk. I know the donations from my link goes directly to the foundation, so I assume it just stays with them. Afterall it is being donated to the cause. I am just so excited to walk for the women in my life who havnt been fortunate enough to survive the battle. Last year my team raised $40,000 but I couldnt walk due to a parasite infestation that I caught in the Dominican Republic, so this is my year to walk the 60 miles and show my love to all of the women whom this disease has affected.
