DEC 23, 2007 at Chicago BEARS 35 FAVRE 7 - Favre threw 2 interceptions
Oct 7, 2007 at Cheeseland BEARS 27 FAVRE 20 - Bears scored game's final 17 points, Urlacher 3rd qtr pick of Favre turned game.

Of the last 6 games, Favre and fellow packers only won once.

As far as I know coaches don't throw interceptions. 28 in 22 playoff games. That's horrible. Like I said, he is a very very good QB, top 10 sure. But he has made a lot of dumb mistakes over the years, especially in do or die playoff games, and has cost his team. His durability is amazing. He's had some great years and made some great plays. He also holds the interception record, yet you both failed to mention that? And sure, farve wasn't on D for that Eagles game. But it was his OT pick that cost them the game. And I hope he has more playoff wins than me, I'm not a pro QB?

And to the Jim Edmonds post again. He is the weakest link of the 9 starters on the Cubs. He platoons with Reed Johnson, yes he's that bad.

I think it is funny as all get out to qualify edmonds as being one of the Cubs best players by saying he is top 5 or 6. I mean there are only 8 regular players to start the game other than the pitcher :lol:

Lets list the players on the Cubs that are more important to the team:

Lee
Theriot
Soriano
Soto
fukudome
ramirez

then pitchers:

dempster
lily
zambrano
harden
marmol
wood when healthy.

Then I list De Rosa, and johnson in the same spot as Edmonds. Dont get me wrong I was happy the Cubs took a chance on Edmonds, but he isnt anywhere near the best player on the team. just a good piece that is only costing us 200,000.


I want Farvre on the bears for what its worth.

I'd take Derosa before Edmonds for his versatility, but your list is spot on.

And as a Bears fan, I know our QB situation is bad, has been bad, and will be bad for quite some time. I'd take him too.
