OT Brett Farve

i can see rogers getting hurt......and mcarthy losing his job...like he should.....wat a damn fool for throwing away superbowl hope....they were too worried about saving face and trying to "ignore" the situation and it is going to bite them in the rear hard...i don't care if favre did make the mistake of saying he was going to retire and then come back....if your team has a chance to win a superbowl...well...you jump on it....who cares if roger's has to be put on hold...he's in a contract...horrible decision by green bay coach

not to mention all the cheese hookups the jets will get now....
oh the glory

muenster
swiss
cheddar
provolone
the choices are endless!!!

If you ask me, the Jets made a pretty decent roster addition... not only do they finally have a QB that can throw downfield, but they have a much better chance of winning a game each Sunday.

With all of this discussion, Pack GM aside, has everyone forgotten the tearful retirement speach?

This is Favres fault alone.

If you watched the Saints/Cardinals game last night with Kornheiser, Terico and Jaworski they jacked Favre up quite a bit.

Regardless of the emotion that was in the press conference that everyone seems to want to scorn, I'm sure the message was sincere. Anyone who speaks in public will invariably find themselves having to explain why they flip-flopped on a topic. The higher your stature with the public and the more you speak publicly, the greater the probability of having to retract something embarrasing or something that will leave you open to criticism from your detractors. Anyone ever listen to the words of politicians?

Not really... because, well, they're politicians.

You are, of course, referring to the second worst team in broadcasting. The first would be any broacast team that includes Joe Buck.

Oh, I don't know about that. After watching Gumble last year I think he may have been the worst football commentator of all time.
