Here is a neat tool not totally accurate but I use it when looking into commercial property al of the time zillow.com check it out usually gives the last appraisal and also if you do any major additions it should be there too just type in youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re address and look em up gives you a good starting point

I too have had problems with cox of the same nature but what they will say is that they bury their cables on a public easment which should be shown on the plot drawing of you property. Even though you property line exceeds the area it is still public domain as it is an easment. Usaly 5' to either side of the prop. line. Does it mean it is right? NO! But you have nor recourse

Rent in our complex is more expensive than buying. The one bedrooms rent at about $1250+. I have seen 2 bedrooms at $1550 lately, but I don't know if they were the 2+1 or 2+2 model.

Down south (Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, south Irvine), you're lucky to get a 2+2 for ~$1950.

I'm just bitter that at 26, I make ~50% more than either of my parents (really should pay public school teachers more), and they've got 5 bedrooms, 3800 sq. ft. on an acre, and I'm paying 400% of their monthly mortgage payment for a 2bd/2bath.

Hey I have a friend who works at cox. If they dont take care of you, she can get someone to pay attention for sure. When I have an issue with them, I call her directly and she "presses the magic button". Cox pays a lot in liabilities each year. Think about when they hit a gas or water line on accident. I can guarantee your hose and lawn will be fixed/replaced and even free service granted if you talk to the right person.
