OT::: Buying a Car, need advice

do most auto-insurance copanies have a grace period in which new auto purchases are covered for before you actually have to add the vehicle to you plan.. hope that makes sense..

just wondering how the car is covered during the transaction.. or should all that be taken care of beforehand

nevermind.. i called my insurance company and temporarily got liability on the car for a month before i have to get full coverage
