binaryterror, thanks. The cam is a Canon 5D, and I used a 24-70 lens for all the pics yesterday and processed the images in Photoshop. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time and am just starting to learn how to take pictures, and I appreciate your comments. It was supposed to be 100F out and we were originally planning to hike up to Gaylor Lake from Tioga pass but decided to go over the pass down to Bodie when the trail head turned out to be semi flooded and a stream of melting snow and we saw all the nice looking clouds off to the east. It was pretty sunny out mid day and got progressively darker and cloudier over the course of the afternoon and rained as we were leaving Bodie to head home. We had originally planned on trying to catch sunset at Olmstead Point but wanted to get back fairly early.
