OT - Fantasy Football

As the season now approaches, who taking the lead on creating a club fantasy football league? Greg did the baseball so I think it shoudl be someone else, maybe Vince or Dr Cato.

I'm guessing that's another Vince. I'm not quite into the fantasy sports thing. (Not that there's anything wrong with that).

I would like to see a pick'em game set up...that way people that maybe don't know individual players as well can just pick games (winners/lossers) each week.

But I would play either one. I would be willing to set up the pick'em game through Yahoo if anyone is interested in that type of game.

lol as much as I love football, I've never done fantasy football. I wouldn't know where to begin.

Epstein, take the ball and run with it. I will learn from you. :)

The fantasy football draft is pretty easy, you don't really have to know very much about the individual players since they are ranked by projected points (projected isn't always accurate due to injuries and luck, but many of them are close).

What about those of us who don't have a tank currently running (i.e. no frags to put up)? When I win I can just let the 2nd place guy have all the frags or I can buy the 1st place guy a beer if I don't happen to win.

No tank=no play. Argi is OUT! Besides he's a Colts fan anyway.

It's starting already huh...

Looking forward to a great year of back and forth bashing:D .

All in good fun of course;)

It's a good thing I like you Cato despite being a Pats fan, or I might take it more personally. I will get you to see the light eventually.

welll gents start sending the emails....If you have no tank ......or frags ...a 6 pack is in order........Fair enough?

 Should be a great season!

On a real football note, does anyone know how difficult it is to get Pats tickets for the regular season? My wife is turning 40 this year and has requested to finally see a pro game. I should mention that Pats are her second choice but I'm guessing to get tickets to a Giants Dallas game is even more difficult. (b-day in December)

Very hard to get (at least good seats) and not worth the price...heck it is the NE Patriots, 2007 Superbowl losers:D.

Seriously though they are not easy and seem to sell out most games. Ticketmaster is usually your best bet, but charges an arm and a leg in fee's.

My wife also turned the big 4-0 this year...good luck:p

The ARGIAPOLIS COLTS will crush all opponents!!!! I would say good luck to everyone, but it won't help you.

I am pretty sure with that statement I have just jinxed myself to be in last place all year and most of my players to be on the IR after week 1 or 2.
